Invasion Planning ProjectThis is a featured page

Let's put everything we have learned into practice. Given the operations order on the left, use your Sun Tzu, your Principles of War, your knowledge of modern units, their organization, sizes and roles, and come up with a plan to accomplish the mission you have been assigned.

While you are at it, add your thoughts about how you would do it in our forum threads below. Remember, this is a public forum. Everyone can read your writing. Make it clear. Use proper grammar and keep it clean.

Enjoy,
Mr.J

Should we worry about this guy or just write him off? What might Sun Tzu say about the idea?

Mr.J How about this for an idea - we just carpet bomb the whole place! 1 Oct 22 2009, 10:52 AM EDT by Dan_Chabursky

I figure carpet bombing the whole capital city of Bugatti would constitute the principles of MASS, Unity of Command (since the bombers are all from one country), MANUEVER (since we are hitting them from an unexpected direction) SURPRISE (assuming they do not know we are coming), Simplicity (after all "bomb them back into the stone age" is a pretty simple concept, OBJECTIVE (destroy the city - easy enough to understand) and OFFENSIVE (I am sure there can be no doubt that wiping out the city would be rather offensive - and yes the pun is intended). It also adheres to Sun Tzu's idea of not fighting in cities and attacking as a thunderbolt from above.
So what do you think?
